I started counselling after reassessing my working life and defining what was important to me, top of the list was working with and supporting people.
I have experience of working with people whose issues include, trauma, abuse, adoption, anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, loss, low self esteem, lack of confidence, relationship difficulties and stress.
The counselling relationship offers the opportunity to understand thoughts, feelings, behaviour, how these impact relationships, what can go wrong and what can help. I offer a safe, confidential space where time is given to understand and explore your difficulties, allowing your thoughts, feelings and choices to become clearer.
I believe in the individual’s capacity to gain awareness and with awareness comes the potential for growth and the ability to do things differently.
